Tea specialists since 1825, their origins can be traced back to 1692 when the Dammann family was granted an exclusive license by the French king to import tea. A family business for generations, they continue their tradition of sourcing only the highest quality teas while building sustainable partnerships with producers. In their quest for a luxury tea to complement their coffee, illy acquired the Dammann Freres company in 2007 and they’ve become their preferred partner since.
