Founded in 1996 by Lake Oswego’s Spaccarelli family, Sapori Fine Flavors has grown from its modest origins into a full-service wholesale distributor, specializing in fine coffees and Italian specialty products. Acquired by the Golder family in 2022, Sapori continues to flourish through its enduring partnerships with premiere restaurants, cafes, and hotels throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska. With the addition of a new, Northwest-roasted coffee line, expansion of our pasta imports, and a move to a significantly larger warehouse space in 2025, we are excited to further our mission: supporting our customers in creating exceptional guest experiences for their customers.

Dave became the owner of Sapori in 2022, following a successful corporate finance career. He brings over 25 years of experience in Operations and Sales Management to the Sapori team. He enjoys combining his passion for helping small business owners with his love of fine dining. Having grown up in a 100-year old, multi-generational family business, he’s thrilled to have returned to those small-business roots.

LeeAnn fell in love with illy espresso—and all things Italian—while living in Florence, Italy as a University of Oregon exchange student. After a decade in the restaurant industry, she honed her marketing skills in the residential property management world. Her goals are to provide outstanding service to her customers, and to travel the world as much as humanly possible.
Kirsten Helgesson
Operations Manager
A member of the Sapori distribution family since 2008, Kirsten has long served as Sapori’s Office Manager and was promoted to Operations Manager in 2025. Overseeing bookkeeping, ordering, invoicing, and shipping, her unmatched organizational and analytical skills are key contributors to Sapori’s success. Outside of the office, she enjoys camping, rockhounding, gardening and baking.

Lead Technician & Equipment Sales
Frank has been a valuable member of Sapori Fine Flavors since joining our team in 2022. With his strong technical proficiency, years of barista experience, and dedication to our customers, he oversees Sapori’s entire technical department. His responsibilities include installations, training, equipment sales and repair, and warehouse management.
Francois Ploussard
Delivery & Sales
Francois has been an integral part of Sapori since 2021. Originally hailing from France, he excels in his dual role because of his enthusiasm for top-notch service and excellent attention to detail. When not at work, Francois enjoys spending time with his family, sports and traveling to discover new horizons.
Daisy
Office Intern
Daisy joined the Sapori crew in 2024 after her predecessor, Lani, moved on to graduate school with the Golders’ daughter. An exuberant lab-shepherd mix, Daisy enjoys guarding the office from wayward Amazon delivery drivers, chasing tennis balls, and eating everything.

At Sapori Fine Flavors, our dedication to inclusivity and community drives us to support local programs that uplift individuals with disabilities, as well as Portland families facing food and housing insecurity. We support the following initiatives:
Unified Sports: A community program at Pacific University that brings together young adults with and without disabilities on the same sports teams.
Polar Plunge Portland: Supporting Special Olympics Oregon’s many programs through fundraising and participation.
Best Buddies: An international nonprofit empowering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through mentorship, friendship, and job-finding.
Urban Gleaners: Rescuing fresh, edible food before it goes to waste and getting it to the Portland families and community members who need it most.
Good Neighbor Center: Sharing warmth and comfort with a Tigard area family shelter through coffee, tea, and food donations.
