Dave Golder, Owner and Operations Manager

Dave was thrilled to become the new owner of Sapori, along with his wife LeeAnn, in 2022. As Operations Manager, he is able to combine his passion for working with business owners with his love of fine dining and fine coffee. He brings over 25 years of successful experience in finance, operations and sales management to the Sapori team. Having grown up in a 100-year old family business, he’s excited to be returning to those small-business roots.

Nathan Spaccarelli, FOUNDER

Nathan began Sapori Fine Flavors with his wife Kathrin in 1996. When they took over illy representation, there were just five customers in the Portland area. With contagious excitement about the product, Nathan was the driving force behind illy’s popularity. His relationships with the Northwest’s finest restaurateurs helped foster successful partnerships with them as their complete solution for their coffee and tea program.

LeeAnn Brewer-GOLDER, Owner and Sales Manager

LeeAnn’s love for illy coffee, and all things European, started long ago when she lived in Italy as a University of Oregon exchange student. While she spent many years working in restaurants, she honed her marketing and sales experience in the property management industry. Her goal is to provide outstanding customer service to Sapori’s customers, and to travel internationally as much as humanly possible.

Kathrin Spaccarelli, FOUNDER

In 1996, Kathrin was poised to combine her skills in international business and banking with her passion for fine coffee. She continued to oversee the company’s finances and administration until April 2022. While she did not get to interact with customers regularly, Kathrin was the “behind the scenes” force in ensuring day-to-day operations at Sapori ran smoothly.

Kirsten Helgesson, Office Manager

Kirsten has been a part of the Sapori family since 2003. She manages the bookkeeping and ensures that all the ordering, invoicing and shipping goes smoothly, while also responding to customers’ questions or concerns. Her unparalleled organizational and analytical skills are one of the secrets to Sapori’s success.

Gabe Spaccarelli, FOUNDER

With Sapori Fine Flavors since its inception, Gabe was an integral part of the growth of the company. Gabe oversaw all aspects of Sapori’s service department focusing on insuring technical parameters provided quality above all else. This included Quality Control Checks, Technical Maintenance, and Field Instruction. His prompt attention to detail helped guarantee a customers’ best chance of success.

FRANK Legarza, Lead technician

Frank joined Sapori in early 2022. He not only brings his strong technical expertise to the table, but also a background as an experienced coffee barista. He manages Sapori’s entire technical department including quality control checks, equipment repair, training, and deliveries.
